Briggs & Stratton Expands SDRC Metaphase® Deployment Fourfold

- Metaphase manages Pro/ENGINEER, AutoCAD Data, and Engineering Change Requests at six sites - 

CINCINNATI-October 30, 2000-SDRC (Nasdaq: SDRC), a global supplier of e-business collaboration solutions for the product lifecycle, today announced that Briggs & Stratton has expanded its Metaphase^® product knowledge management (PKM) deployment from 350 to 1550 users. One of SDRC's earliest Metaphase customers, Briggs & Stratton uses Metaphase to manage all of its CAD data, including Pro/ENGINEER and AutoCAD, and is expanding its Metaphase deployment to also manage manufacturing tool drawings.
