SDRC Receives MetaphaseŽ Order for 3,000+ Users from Lockheed Martin

Metaphase to Serve as Standard Collaborative Product and Process Management System for All
Aeronautics Users
CINCINNATI-January 29, 2001-SDRC (Nasdaq: SDRC) today announced that Lockheed Martin
Aeronautics Company has placed a software license and related services order for deployment of over
3,000 concurrent users of SDRC's product knowledge management (PKM) software, MetaphaseŽ.
Metaphase will serve as the enterprise product and process data management
system for all Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company users. Lockheed is using Metaphase as a key enabler of improvements in
meeting competitive and cost effective objectives, including retiring and/or linking several legacy
software applications.
